    <Abstract>Plant secondary metabolites, including alkaloids, terpenoids, and phenolics, are bioactive compounds with significant applications in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food industries. These metabolites exhibit diverse pharmacological properties, such as anticancer, antimicrobial, and neuroprotective effects, making them vital for developing novel therapeutic agents. This editorial reviews the classification, key compounds, and medicinal importance of plant secondary metabolites, highlighting their role in modern medicine and industry. As research advances, these natural compounds will continue to be pivotal in addressing critical health challenges.</Abstract>
